Refund policy

Because jewellery is a personal item, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, size or preference. We do, however, stand behind every order reaching you safely.

When you are eligible for a replacement or refund

  • Damaged in transit — your item arrives broken, bent or otherwise damaged.
  • Wrong item sent — you received a different product, design or colour from what you ordered.
  • Lost or not delivered — your parcel is lost in transit, or tracking shows it as delivered but you did not receive it.

How to raise a claim

  1. Contact us within [CLAIM_WINDOW_HOURS] hours of delivery (for damaged or wrong items) at alfajewelsonline@gmail.com, with your order number.
  2. For damaged or wrong items, share a continuous, unedited unboxing video starting from the sealed parcel, plus clear photos of the product and packaging. Claims without an unboxing video may not be accepted.
  3. For lost or undelivered parcels, contact us within [LOST_CLAIM_DAYS] days of the expected delivery date. We will investigate with our courier partner, which can take up to [INVESTIGATION_DAYS] business days.

Resolution

Once your claim is approved, we will send a free replacement of the item you ordered (for wrong items, we will also arrange pickup of the incorrect product at no cost to you). If the item is out of stock, or if you prefer, we will issue a full refund.

Refunds

  • Prepaid orders (UPI, cards, net banking, wallets): refunded to the original payment method.
  • Cash on Delivery orders: refunded by UPI or bank transfer to details you share with us.

Approved refunds are initiated within [REFUND_INITIATE_DAYS] business days. Your bank or payment provider may take an additional 5–7 business days to credit the amount.

Order cancellation

You can cancel an order before it has been dispatched by contacting us. Once dispatched, orders cannot be cancelled. Prepaid cancellations are refunded in full to the original payment method.
